the grateful alive.

I have a new British fetish.

"& apparently a new rhyming theme."

but really who doesn't like to blurt out "Harrrry Potta" every now and again? maybe I just have a Harrrry Potta fetish, who knows? (It's even fun to type!) Any way, I'm wayyy too busy with my latest love affair (Twilight) to even think about Harrrry Potta, sorry Harry, you'll just have to wait. But it's not just Harry that's got a hold of me, Kira Knightly... WOW, she took my breath away hundreds of times in her new movie The Duchess, and of course that one song... (American boy) gotta love her sexy voice. And oh yes! Lily Allen... I heart Lily Allen! You see, I have a new British Fetish... But that's neither here, nor there... I'm focused.

back to the title.

Times are hard... Duh. And everyone is a little freaked out... Yup. It's times like these that I like to sit back and be thankful for my job security! (Knock on wood!) I was laid off from United Title just around this time last year, nothing has been that heart breaking, or unexpected in years. I usually have a pretty good idea as to how months in advance will play out, at least for the most part. I'd rather be surviving pay check to pay check, than be jobless, and losing it! I've had my fair share of ups and downs, and I've come to realize the more time I spend being grateful, the less I stress about the petty. If all hope was lost and, even I lost my great job, I would resort to this.

a list of things to be grateful for.

The beautiful sunrise that I get to watch every morning on my way out to Hurricane

The view right out my office window

The car that my boss so willingly has allowed me to drive for the past 4 months

my Mommy for helping me solve my every problem

my sister for her smile and unconditional love

my Daddy for always bailing me out

my friends

the eight great guys I get to work with everyday

my common sense

pictures & memories

books

my bed

my house

& my garage

Judds

artichokes & crab legs

flowers, falling leaves, grass, just nature

swing sets & slides

pepsi

shoes

hope for a new love

late nights out dancing

art

& obstacles along the way

my singing voice

my bum

my ability to through any meal together

beer

tampons

ice cream

face wash

water

the Internet (not so grateful for my addictions)

the ones who have hurt me, for making me strong

and of course my favorite person, Talon

His Smile

His laughter

His nose picking

His dirty feet

His beautiful brown eyes

The way he rubs my back when I say goodbye to him in the morning

His precious lil bum that I have to pinch every time I see

His anxious phone calls

The way he says I lub you

The way he says I lub you more

The way he says, night night, miss you, have a good day, & my skate

The way he reminds me of a perfect angel while he is sleeping, & like batman, spider man, or a transformer while he is awake.

& of course I am grateful for the way he has helped me to become stronger, happier, more positive, thankful, grateful & more than anything the way he has shown me the type of person I want to be & the type of person that deserves to be with us... With an angel by my side, how could I not be grateful?

I could go on for days, but I'll spare ya and leave it at that.

Life is good. :)
